Choosing the right TMT grade
Fe 500 and Fe 500D TMT bars are the standard for residential and commercial RCC in Tamil Nadu. The "D" grade has higher ductility and is recommended in seismic zones and for multi-storey buildings. Fe 550D is used where designs call for higher strength and less steel. Your structural engineer specifies the grade and diameter for each element; we supply exactly that.
