OPC or PPC: which cement should you buy?
OPC 53 grade gains strength quickly and is preferred for RCC slabs, columns, beams and precast work where early strength matters. PPC contains fly ash, sets a little slower, resists cracking and sulphate attack better and is the common choice for masonry, plastering, flooring and non-structural concrete.
